CELEBRITY COUPLE LOSES LIFE IN SINGLE CAR CRASH

The city of California have been thrown into a state of melancholy as the NBA erstwhile player Rasual Butler and his singer wife, Leah Labelle lost their lives in the early hours of Wednesday in a single car crash in Studio city, California.

Butler 38, played in the NBA for 14 years with various teams and was drafted by the Miami Heat in 2002 where he spent his first three seasons and last playing for the San Antonio Spurs in the 2015-2016. He also played with Clippers, Bulls, Raptors, Wizards, Spurs and Hornets.
Factsreporter gathered from TMZ that Butler lost control of his Ranger Rover around 2 am on Wednesday, and ram into a parking meter before the car swerved into a wall.

However, his wife Leah Labelle, 31 is a Canadian-born American R&B singer signed to Epic Records had participated in the third season of the American Idol in 2004 where she finished 12th place in the contest was killed in the crash with Butler. Labelle did back singing for the Jonas brother and Jordin Sparks.

NBA star Dwayne Wade tweeted '' Come on man. Damn. The world just lost a great dude. RIP Rasual ''Bop'' Butler.
La Marcus Aldridge of the San Antonio Spurs tweeted: "Devastated to hear the news about the passing of my former teammate, Rasual, & his wife. My thoughts and prayers go out to their families during this difficult time. Rasual was an amazing teammate and an even better person. He will truly be missed!"
The Indiana Pacers issued the following statement:
''Our entire organization is deeply saddened after learning of the death of Rasual Butler and his wife,Leah Labelle. In his season with us, Rasual was the consummate team player and a great role model for our younger players on how a professional should prepare and act, while being a positive influence on everyone who associated with him. We offer our sincerest condolences to he and his wife's family''
