17 DEAD, 50 ORS INJURED IN FRESH ATTACK IN BORNO

BREAKING: Female Suicide Bombers Attack Konduga In Borno

No fewer than 17 persons have been killed and 50 others injured in a multiple explosions that hit Konduga local government area of Borno State, North-east Nigeria on Friday.
According to report, the incident occurred on Friday night at a community in Konduga Local Government Area, where three female suicide bombers stormed a fish market with IEDs strapped on their bodies.
Confirming the report, The North East Zonal Coordinator of National Emergency Management Agency, Bashir Idris Garga, told Channels Television that 14 people died on the spot while three passed away at the hospital.
Garga said bodies of the victims have been deposited at the mortuary while the injured taken to the Konduga General Hospital.
However, the Borno State Police Command is yet to issue an official statement on the incidence or the causalities.
