EMPOWERMENT GONE WRONG: ABIA SENATOR GIFT HIS CONSTITUENTS FRYING PANS

Nigeria is obviously one country where everything sure seems to work very well. It is only in this same Naija that you'll see a serving senator drive the latest model of expensive car and still have the gut to ridicule his constituents in the name of empowerment programme. Over the years we've seen lot of different skills and empowerment programme organised by our leaders, some have received commendation while others got real backlash from Nigerians.

When Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State donated wheel barrows and hoes with his name inscribed ''Gov. Ortom for you'' to his people in his state, a lot of Nigerians rolled out their drums and gave him a proper tongue lash, we thought we had seen it all. And then Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa state came with his wooden bridge, all hell let loose. It all happened in this same Naija of ours. Or is it Shehu Sani who donated transistor radio to people?

   Nigerians how much have we seen?

  We have seen all kinds of different constituency empowerment in Nigeria but definitely, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa representing Abia North district has got the internet barking with his own share of the ridiculed constituency empowerment programme. 

 According to report, the amiable Senator out of his good heart decided to empower his constituents with frying pans and gas cylinders as part of his contributions to them.

As to why they would do what they’re doing is already disturbing, but that they even took videos of the episode makes things 100 times worse. RT. HON SAM IKON GIVES BACK TO THE ETINAN PEOPLE

Hon Sam Ikon who is currently representing the Etinan Federal Constituency at the National Assembly has today flag-off a free medical and surgical outreach for the people of Etinan at the Primary Health Care Operational Base, Etinan. The free medical outreach include free surgeries, free eye checks and glasses, free counseling and free drugs administration at the General Hospital Mbioto 2 and all the wards in Etinan Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State. The outreach which begins today will run till 2nd of February 2018 for all Etinan Local Government indigenes while Nsit Ubium and Nsit Ibom local government areas will take their turn next two weeks respectively.
