Residents of Port Harcourt have taken to social media platforms to raise alarm over what might become a health disaster precautionary action is not taken. 
They complain that the heavy industrial activities from oil and gas companies in the area pollutes the air with soot and nothing is being done about it.
The #StoptheSoot campaign has been launched to raise awareness on the problem.
